Today I’d like to talk about the newest philanthropic release for fall 2023 from Chantecaille.
Chantecaille is a beauty company that has been around for 25 years, and sells makeup, skincare and fragrance. It’s truly one of my favorite brands. Their skincare is effective yet gentle, and their makeup products are truly elegant in both their formulation and their packaging. (I don’t have anything to write about their fragrances as I haven’t used them.).
One of the most impressive aspects of Chantecaille is their philanthropic work. They often give back a percentage of their sales of specific limited-edition products to nature conservation companies. They have donated money to save bees, elephants, oceans and coral reefs, and wild cats, along with other charities.
Their latest collection is a series of neutral lipsticks and eyeshadows created to support the American Wild Horse Campaign. As I stated earlier, their packaging is always elegant, and this collection doesn’t disappoint. Each of the shadows has a picture of a different horse on the front, and the Lip Veils have horses on the cover.
There are four eyeshadows in the collection, two shimmers, two matte. Having mattes in this single-eyeshadow packaging is new for Chantecaille, as all of the previous have been shimmers or metallics. The formula is a creamy powder that glides on effortlessly, blends beautifully and wears for eight hours. I absolutely adore this formula. I have a large collection of eyeshadows but I find myself reaching for the Chantecalle singles most often.
Eyeshadows:
Roan – Shimmering Pale Cinnamon
Pinto – Shimmering Silvery Mauve
Palomino – Matte Nude Ivory
Bay – Matte Brown with a bit of red
Lipsticks:
Wild Begonia – Deep Rose with a satin finsh
Laurel – Rich Pink Nude with a slightly frosted finish
Overall, I think these shadows and lipsticks are a great addition to my makeup collection, simply because of their formulation. Yes, they are all neutrals – but they are neutrals with some pizzazz, which is what makes them special.
