Over the past year, I have purchased quite a few of the Gucci Luminous Matte blushes ($49) The original formula has been great – extremely bendable and pigmented, and matte without being flat. They actually worked extremely well when paired with their Illuminating Gel-Powder Highlighter ($59). I use these blushes very regularly, with my favorites being Intense Plum, Soft Coral and Silky Rose.

But now they have come out with a new formula…the Gucci Glow Blush ($49)!

This new glowy – but not glittery – bendable blush comes in six colors:

Of course, I purchased most of the colors, and do love them all. (But my favorites are the Warm Peach and Bright Ruby). They are grown-up glow blushes – they do not emphasize my wrinkles or skin texture at all. I still do like a bit of highlighter on top of them, but that’s just my personal preference. I think most people would love them alone, as they do provide a good amount of glow.
Wear time for these blushes is pretty average – about 6-8 hours before there is a little fading. But they fade evenly, and with a bit of a setting spray, you can extend the wear time by hours! And I also find that these go on best with a denser, synthetic hair brush.
