Like most high-end fashion houses, Prada has a beauty line that has been growing over the past few years. I’ve tried a lot of their products and many of them are really good, specifically their foundation, powder and lipsticks. So as soon as they released the Blurring + Micro-Correcting Concealer with Peptide Complex ($48) I had to give it a try.
The new concealer comes in a really slick package that mirrors the foundation and the lipsticks, with a square center with the Prada logo. It has a unique arrow shaped aplicator which makes it incredibly easy to apply pecisely, especially into the corner of the eyes.

I wasn’t sure of the right color to purchase while looking at the online swatches, so I purchased both the LN1 and the LN2, as I don’t like my concealer to be too cool toned. I ended up keeping the LN2, as it works perfectly with my skin tone, both under the eye and on any imperfections I want to conceal.
When I first applied the concealer, I was concerned that it was too thin and wouldn’t conceal well, but I was wrong. It is surprisingly pigmented for such a thin texture – definitely medium coverage. It does take a bit of time to set, but doesn’t budge once it is dry. I tried it both with and without setting powder and it worked well both ways, and found that tapping it in with my fingertips worked better than with a brush. I can’t say that I have seen any improvement in my dark circles over time (which is one of its claims) but I honestly don’t think that any concealer will help my dark circles!
Overall, I think this is a really good concealer that is hydrating enough to not settle into under eye creases. If you are looking for a medium coverage concealer that goes on beautifully and lasts all day, this may be a great option for you!
