Over the past few weeks, I have been reaching for an old favorite of mine, the LORAC Unzipped Eye Shadow Palette ($37). I can’t believe that I stopped using this for so long, because the instant I went back to it…I remembered how much I love it.
This palette is a wonderful mix of pinks, plums, golds and browns, and has both cool and warm shades in a mix of matte and shimmer finishes. It’s incredibly blendable, and lends itself to natural and dramatic looks. I’ve had this palette for years – I think I am on my third purchase – because of its versatility. And it’s exceptionally good for redheads. I’ve recommended it to quite a few fellow redheads and they have all loved it.
One thing to note is that there are three versions of this palette. My favorite, and the one I have pictured, is the original Unzipped palette. There are two others – Unzipped Gold, which is much warmer and more shimmery. There is also Unzipped Amor, which has a much more pink/plum mix. And while I prefer the original, the others are just as good!
If you are looking for an inexpensive, versatile, bendable palette, I would highly recommend the original LORAC Unzipped palette. You won’t be disappointed!
