You know that I am a huge fan of Chantecaille. I love their makeup – the colors are interesting yet understated, the formulations are beautiful, and their packaging is extraordinary. But did you know that their skincare is just as good as their makeup? They have lots of great products, but today I want to talk about the Bio Lifting line.
Chantecaille describes the Bio Lifting line as:
“These award-winning formulas feature ingredients like Plantago Stem Cell Extract*, which promotes firmness, and Raspberry Stem Cell Extract* for soothing antioxidant power along with powerful peptides that target multiple signs of aging: lines, loss of firmness and dehydration for smooth, supple, youthful-looking skin.”
The line is made up of the following items, all of which are in my regular skincare rotation:
Bio Lifting Serum+ ($298) – This serum is the starting point for the entire Bio Lifting line. I apply it under any other skincare that I am using, and it is a great booster. It absorbs quickly, and is not sticky. This would be my number one suggestion if you are starting out with the line.
Bio Lifting Eye Cream ($230) – Chantecaille recently reformulated the eye cream, and it’s even better than the original. What I love about this eye cream is that it can be used both day and night to provide instant lifting and firming hydration. It also really helps prepare the skin around the eyes for makeup. I find that when I use this product, my undereye concealer goes on smoother and doesn’t crease.
Bio Lifting Mask+ ($215) – I have already written about this mask and how much I love it. I use it in so many ways – as a mask to prepare my skin for makeup, as an overnight mask, and as a rescue mask combined with the Chantecaille Gold Recovery Mask to amp up the hydration.
Bio Lifting Oil-Free Fluid ($290) – The oil-free fluid is perfect for people with oilier skin, or for someone like me in the summer when my skin is less dry. It’s also amazing under makeup, as the oil-free formula doesn’t encourage your makeup to slip. I also love that it comes in a pump, which is easier to dispense.
Bio Lifting Cream+ ($355) – The center of the entire range, this cream is wonderfully lifting and firming, and provides extra hydration. Definitely a great product for the fall and winter during the day, but great year round at night. I also will layer this with other moisturizers if I need an extra boost of hydration along with the lifting and firming.
Bio Lifting Neck Cream ($188) – The last of the Bio Lifting line is the neck cream. I only started using neck cream a few years ago when I started noticing lines and drooping on my neck. (Age? Too much time staring at my phone? Both?). I’ve definitely seen an improvement after using this cream for a few months. I especially like that it isn’t too thick so doesn’t feel slimy or sticky on my neck, especially when I am in bed. Some people may think that a neck cream isn’t necessary, but I think the neck ages faster than the face!
Overall, I highly recommend the entire Chantecaille Bio Lifting line. But if I were to suggest just a couple, definitely get the serum, the mask and the eye cream.
