Gucci recently released their Glow Powder Gel Highlighter ($59) in five colors. I hesitated to buy them for about half a day, and then I purchased two of the five colors. And after wearing them for a few days, I went back and purchased two more of the colors.
These highlighters are breathtaking.
The formula is a silky, powder-to-gel that blends beautifully and melts into my skin within seconds. They are not glittery or chunky at all. They are just truly elegant highlighters.
The four colors I purchased are:
01 – Sunrise Gold, a soft champagne
02 – Frosted Lilac, a pale lilac
05- Warm Bronze, a deep bronze
The only color I didn’t purchase is the 03 – Warm Gold. While this looks lovely, gold highlighters don’t really work on my skin so I skipped it.
One of the things I love about these highlighters are their versatility. Because they aren’t glittery or chunky, I have used them as both highlighters and as eyeshadows. The bronze color is especially beautiful on the eyes, as it has enough color to add depth and dimension to my lid. I honestly picture myself using this color as an eyeshadow more often than a face highlighter.

The Gucci highlighters aren’t cheap, so I wouldn’t expect most people to purchase all of them. However, I do think that the lightest color (01) and the pink (04) would be beautiful on most skin tones, as they are the most neutral. And those with dark skin should love the bronze (05)!
