For the past few years, I have been using Kusshi bags to travel with my multitude beauty products. There are a few reasons that I have chosen these bags:
- They are lightweight and well-made.
- They come in different sizes to meet all my needs and allow me to organize by product type (hair, beauty, makeup, etc.).
- They fold flat which makes storage a breeze. You can even nest them to keep them together.
- Made with nylon so they are easy to clean.
- They have lots of pockets for organization, and even offer snap-in sections for additional organization and to keep my makeup brushes safe
- They come in lots of different color combinations! I love the black with pink inside because it makes it easier to find things!
I have all of the sizes that they offer and will use most or all of them when traveling, based on how much I have brought with me. And as someone who immediately unpacks when I am staying overnight somewhere, I love having organized bags to keep me sane when I don’t have a lot of storage or counter space!
Here’s how I usually organize when I am traveling:
- I use the small Everyday Makeup Bags for things like cotton swabs, cotton rounds, small beauty tools (tweezers, nail clippers) and just those small items that can get lost in a larger bag.
- I use the medium Signature Makeup Bag for things like toothpaste/travel toothbrush, mouthwash, floss. (Anything that will go in my mouth that want to keep separate from other items!).
- I use the large Vacationer Makeup Bag for beauty products, hair products and makeup. I have multiples for keeping all of these items separated for easy access. I also use the extra pocket inserts and the makeup brush inserts to help with organization.
Overall, The my Kusshi bags were almost perfect in my mind, except for the fact that the largest size wasn’t always large enough.
But all that changed when they introduced their newest bag, The Traveler.
This bag is a dream come true! It is incredibly large 9″ h x 17″ l x 8.5″ w and has lots of pockets. It holds so much, even full-size products. It even has removable straps to make carrying it easy. I’m so happy with this bag and am excited to travel with it. I can envision that it will be amazing for car travel, because it will be easy to carry outside of my suitcase(s).
Have you tried the Kusshi bags, and do you like them? Do you have any other suggestions on makeup bags? Let me know your thoughts!
