I’m addicted to masks, and I am not afraid to say it! And because of that, I have a tendency to buy masks often, and my collection is large. I’m lucky because I work from home, so I can put a face mask on as often as I want.
There are a lot of different types of masks out there – sheet masks, overnight masks, eye masks, wash-off face masks. Today I am going to give you some highlights of my favorites – those that I go back to over and over again and that I repurchase often.
Let’s start with eye masks. There are two that I use often.
The first is the Patchology Serve Chilled Rose Eye Gels ($35 for 15 pairs). These are my go-to for a quick refresh of my under eye area, specifically if I want to get rid of puffiness. They go on quickly and actually stay on – they don’t slip down my face! I can honestly say that I use these at least twice a week, so I will make sure to buy them whenever I find them on sale.
The second is the Sisley Eye Contour Mask ($170). Another eye mask that reduces puffiness, it also provides cooling hydration. And while it is on the expensive side, a little goes a long way so a tube does last a long time. I especially like this eye mask to prepare for a night out, because I can put it on under my eyes before I put on my eye makeup, and then just wipe it off to finish my makeup.
Next, let’s talk about sheet masks. Or specifically, the “queen bee” sheet mask that I have been using for many, many years – the Tatcha Luminous Hydrating Sheet Mask ($95 for four masks). I love this sheet mask. It is plumping, cooling, hydrating and firming – all at the same time. It smells divine, and stays on my face well. I always have backups of this mask, because I never want to be without it!
My next two favorite masks are both by Chantecaille: The Gold Recovery Mask and the Bio-Lifting Mask+. I am putting them together for two reasons. First, you can buy them together in the Luxe Mask Duo+ ($378) set at a discount. Second, because they can be used together, which is what I usually do! I will first put on the Bio-Lifting Mask+, let it sink in, and then top it with the Gold Recovery Mask. These can be used both as treatment masks that are washed off after 20 minutes or so, or they can be left on overnight for a more intense treatment. Either way, your skin will be firmer, smoother, more hydrated, and brighter when you are done. I highly recommend using them together, because alone they are great, together they are spectacular.
So there you have it, my favorite masks, let me know if you agree with my choices!
