A few months ago, I read an article about a small company based in the Brooklyn, called Naked and Thriving.
Specifically, the article mentioned the Renew Resurfacing Face Serum. I decided to try it out, and ordered The Refresh Routine: Refresh, Renew, Rejuvenate. The set comes with the serum, along with the Refresh Gentle Enzyme Cleanser and the Rejuvenate Restorative Face Oil.
Within a few days of using all three items, I was hooked. Two of the products are now in my regular skincare routine.
My skin has never looked clearer, smoother and more radiant. Fine lines started disappearing and my skin seemed plumper and brighter. They made such a difference that my aesthetician actually commented on how great my skin looked.
Here’s a review of each of the products.
The Refresh Gentle Enzyme Cleanser:
The cleanser comes in a glass bottle with a pump, which looks great on your counter but isn’t something that you would want to bring into the shower with you, for safety. That being said, I prefer glass bottles because they are easier to recycle and usually keep the products more stable. The cleanser is a pale green gel that smells amazing, somewhat of a floral/citrus blend. It lightly foams on my face, and rinses clean after removing all of the makeup and grime of the day. My skin was a tiny bit tight after using it, but that happens with pretty much every cleanser. But I have found that the dryness goes away with the next two products.
The Renew Resurfacing Face Serum and the Rejuvenate Restorative Face Oil:
All I can say is wow. These two products combined have made my skin clear, bright and smooth. I am lucky that I have good skin, but these products take it to the next level.
I started out using the serum every few days, just to make sure that my skin tolerated it. The first few days there was a little tingle when I used it, but it went away quickly each night and now I don’t feel it at all. And the oil is just beautiful. Absorbs quickly and makes my skin feel soft and hydrated in the morning. It doesn’t make my skin greasy at all. My makeup goes on much nicer and I definitely need less foundation.
These products were so good that I am starting to look at other products from the line. More to come as I try them out!
