I just purchased all six of the new Dior Forever Glow Maximizer Complexion Liquid Highlighter ($45) from the Dior website. I saw them and they looked so appealing that I had to get them. There are six limited edition highlighters in this collection – Pearly, Pink, Gold, Rosy, Peachy and Bronze.
I purchased the whole set, but was a bit nervous that the gold and bronze wouldn’t work for me. And I was wrong! They worked beautifully on my pale skin, and I bet they would be just as pretty on darker skin. All of the formulas have a glowy finish with some micro-glitter. Interestingly enough, I didn’t really notice the micro-glitter until I washed swatches off my arm. They did leave some glitter, but not a lot. And fortunately, they are not overly glittery on the skin. They have a sophisticated glow and never look greasy.
I’ve used these highlighters in multiple ways:
- Bronze as a true bronzer, both above and under foundation.
- Gold and Pearly as true highlighters on my cheeks.
- Peachy, Rosy and Pink as blushes.
I’ve also used them all as eyeshadows, and they look amazing, and last surprisingly long!
I have a tendency to buy highlighters but not wear them, but I can honestly say that I’ve been wearing these not stop since I got them a few weeks ago. They are winners!
