I’ve been trying out the new Hermes mascara, Hermes Trait d’Hermes Revitalizing Care Mascara ($68) over the past few weeks, and I have to say that I am very impressed. Is it expensive? Yes it is, but I am very particular about mascara, and I find that this one ticks off all of the boxes to make it a winner!
- It comes in multiple colors:
- Black (Noir Fusain)
- Brown (Brun Bistre)
- Green (Vert Titien)
- Blue (Blue Encre)
- Purple (Violet Indigo)
- Red (Rouge H)
- It lengthens and thickens lashes beautifully, especially when worn over a mascara primer. FYI – My favorite mascara primer is The Diorshow Maximizer 3D Lash Primer Serum.
- It doesn’t smudge or flake, and lasts all day.
- It helps hold the curl, especially if you use an eyelash curler.
- It does not clump! No matter how many layers I put on, it doesn’t clump. I have even added additional layers hours after my first application – to go from day to night look – and it still doesn’t clump. It’s pretty amazing that way.
Overall, I would recommend the Hermes mascara to anyone looking for something new to try out. Comment and let me know what you think!
