I just purchased the new NARS Afterglow Irresistable Eyeshadow Palette ($60) and I am definitely loving it! It’s got a mix of matte, satin and shimmers, all in warm shades. If you are looking for a cool-toned palette, this is NOT for you! The shades are a good combination of rose, peach and brown, and they blend beautifully. It’s also deeper and more shimmery than one of my favorite pallets, the original LORAC Unzipped Palette ($40).
This new palette is kind of an expansion of the Nars Endless Lights Palette ($49), which I also have. Honestly, they work together very well, because the shadows from the Endless Lights palettes are a bit deeper and have a bit more plum to them. They aren’t dupes, but rather complementing palettes. I could easily take the two of them on a vacation and not need to bring anything else, because they will be able to create day and night, casual and elegant looks.
