Trying New Skincare – Element Eight

Element Eight Cream Kit With Bag

A few months ago I read about a new skincare line, Element Eight. It’s designed to treat your skin with extra oxygen, which will help with skin repair and collagen production. (Oxygen is the 8th element on the periodic table, hence the company name!). I saw the Element Eight Face and Eye Transformation gift set ($575) at Nordstrom and decided to try it. The gift set included the eye cream, the serum and the peptide moisturizer. I’ve been using it regularly for the last few months, and I’m truly impressed. My skin is hydrated and glowy and some of my fine lines have become less prominent. I’ve even noticed that the pores on my nose and chin are getting less clogged over time, which may be due to the oxygenation of the skincare.

Element Eight has five different products:

Niacinamide Serum for all skin types

Caffeine Active Eye Serum for dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles

Squalane Repair Correct Cream for sensitive skin that needs soothing repair

Hyaluronic Acid Face Cream for Normal to Dry skin

Peptide Face Cream for Normal to Oily skin

I haven’t tried the Peptide cream yet, but I may be purchasing in the future for the warmer summer months when my skin doesn’t need as much hydration.

All of the Element Eight products are backed by the science of oxygen (seriously, read about it on their site!) and are vegan and gluten-free. And while the products are on the more expensive side, I have found that they are worth it. One thing that is nice is that they sell gift sets and eight-day trial sets. If you purchase the eight-day trial sets ($90 -$105) and you like the products, you get that money back in the form of a discount in purchasing the full size products. It’s definitely a good deal!

So if you are looking for a science-backed, well-performing skincare line, I would recommend Element Eight!
