I’d like to introduce you a a new makeup line that I am obsessed with – Fara Homidi. It’s a small beauty company that is made up of few products that are all elegant and amazing.
The first product I tried from her line is my favorite, the Essential Bronzer ($78). It comes in four shades, all of which are also available in refills($42). These bronzers are the most blendable, long-wearing, seamless bronzers I have ever used. It is somehow both creamy and silky but with a soft powder finish, which makes it amazing for layering. And the colors are beautiful. The color I wear is bois, which was extremely popular and had been sold out at both her website and at Sephora, but is available now. I love it so much that I purchased a backup, even though I have barely made a dent in the one I have right now.

After trying the bronzer, I decided to purchase the Essential Face Compact ($88). And when I tried it for the first time, I was a bit confused. I actually thought it was a concealer and a gloss topper. But I was wrong! The compact has two sections – one is a thicker foundation/compact hybrid. It applies beautifully so that you can use it in a single layer to even out your skin and can apply a second layer cover any imperfections. And the gloss can be used to sheer the product out, or to provide a bit of a highlight to the skin. It’s such a versatile product, and I find myself reaching for it daily. It comes in 15 colors to fit all skin tones. I use the color beurre the most often, but I also have silvette if I want to brighten my undereyes. I also think it will be great midwinter when my skin gets even more pale!

The last products I tried are her lip products – a lipliner, a lip compact and the lip oil. Every single one of them is truly special. The lipliner ($36) (I have faun and doux) goes on subtle and beautiful and last a long time. The lip oils ($46) – I have giene and pomme – are shiny, hydrating and somehow look elegant while still being glossy. I love that they ad shine without glitter! And lastly, I have the lip compact ($88, refillable) in nude 1 and holiday (a limited-edition shade). The lip compact comes with a long-lasting, velvet matte color and a hydrating gloss for the top.

So if after reading all of this you are interested in trying some of the products by Fara Homidi…now is the time! She has a lot of gift sets for the holidays that are great deals, including a lip oil/lipliner set, a lip compact/lipliner set, and my favorite, a bronzer/brush/lip oil set!
