For holiday 2024, Dolce & Gabbana released an eyeshadow palette that completely wow’ed me. The packaging, the formula, the blendability, the colors…all were utter perfection. It quickly became one of my most used palettes, and I looked forward to what D&G came out with next.
And then…almost a year with no new eyeshadows.
But that changed last month, when they released the Ever Icon Eye Palettes ($71 each) in three color stories:
01 – Amber Venus – Iconic Browns – an extremely versitile mix of browns, taupes, and champagne.

02 – Rose Goddess – Sophisticated Pinks – a flattering and fun mix of pinks, plums, and purples.

03 – Chrome Star – Sleek Grays – a surprisingly wearable mix of taupes, grays and pinks.

I am absolutely in love with these palettes. The color stories for each of them is great, but even better is that they work extremely well together. I have found myself using a palette alone or in conjunction with the others. Each palette has a mix of sheer and bolder colors with satin, matte and shimmer shades.
They blend beautifully and have the perfect amount of color payoff – not so lightly pigmented that they don’t show up, but not so strongly pigmented that they are overpowering. They have a great mix of warm, neutral and cool tones, so I think they would work for almost all skin tones, and the shimmers aren’t glitter, so they work on more mature eyes, too.
D&G claims that the eyeshadows wear for at least 10 hours (very true) and are suitable for both day and night. Each palette even has a guide as to how to transition the shadows from day to night, so wearing the colors are mistake-proof!
So if you are in the market for some beautiful palettes that look as amazing on your vanity as on your eyes, look no further than the Ever Icon Eye Palettes from Dolce & Gabbana!
